Top court considering if AG should get legal costs
Providence’s Abraham Vergis and Danny Quah represented Mr. Deepak Sharma in a judicial review against Law Society. Abraham Vergis submitted in his arguments that “There is something intrinsically wrong with the idea that the Attorney-General should be awarded costs for raising public interest considerations and that a private litigant should be ordered to fund it.”
