Providence Law Asia representing Huang Min against Lim Tean
Providence Law Asia’s Lim Mingguan and Bestlyn Loo represent Mr Huang Min, a Chinese national, in reclaiming the money he loaned to former NSP chief Lim Tean amounting to US$150,000.
Following the Writ of Summons filed in December 2017, District Judge Tan May Tee and Deputy Registrar Regina Lim agreed that Mr Huang has established a prima facie case for judgment on his claim for the repayment of the loan and hence delivered a summary judgment in favour of Mr Huang on 22 November 2018.
Mr Lim is appealling against the said judgment in the High Court and the case is still pending.
