Abraham Vergis invited to speak at the Singapore Academy of Law conference on equitable remedies
This 1.5-day Conference is the second collaboration between the Singapore Academy of Law and the Chancery Bar of England and Wales, following the highly successful inaugural conference in 2013. The focus will be on 3 broad themes, namely, proprietary remedies, financial equitable remedies and non-financial equitable remedies.
The Conference will feature keynote addresses by the Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon and The Right Honourable Sir Michael Briggs, and various plenary sessions, panel discussions and workshops presented by an impressive line-up of speakers (including our very own Managing Director), comprising both established names and promising younger talent, from the legal community in Singapore and the Chancery Bar of England and Wales.
Mr Abraham Vergis will be speaking about specific performance and its application in the context of commercial litigation.
The conference is scheduled for 5th and 6th March 2015. Interested individuals may follow this link to sign up: http://www.sal.org.sg/conference/salchba2015/index.html.
