Amar is a Counsel with the firm. His practice spans complex cross-border commercial litigation, including investor-State disputes, fraud and asset recovery, and insolvency-related proceedings.
Amar graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Yong Pung How School of Law in the Singapore Management University, where he won the David Marshall and Joe Grimberg prizes as the top student in criminal law and international moots respectively. He reached the semi-final of the 30th Willem C. Vis Moot and the world quarter-final of the 65th Philip C. Jessup Moot. He has co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on investor-State issues in international arbitration and now serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Singapore Management University, where he teaches a course on advocacy.
Amar is fluent in English and speaks Hindi and Bahasa Indonesia in a limited working proficiency.
