Providence Law Asia LLC Law Asia’s Abraham Vergis, S.C. Vergis SC spoke on the panel of AllBright Law Offices’s event in the afternoon of 26 August 2026 “𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 – 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲”, together with esteemed panellists Yue Ma, Dr. Minli Tang and Heidi Chui.

The panel had a lively discussion on the opportunities and challenges of pursuing disputes in one’s home jurisdiction. Abraham shared on forum fragmentation — what happens when one dispute ends up before several courts and tribunals at once – and touched on what the Singapore courts can and cannot do in these situations. The panellists also discussed interim relief in China-related disputes and enforcement of an award.
