Providence Law Asia welcomes Colin Liew as Director, and Head of International Litigation

We are thrilled to announce that Colin Liew has joined Providence Law Asia LLC as Head of International Litigation. A former independent practitioner at Duxton Hill Chambers Singapore, Colin is widely recognised for his expertise in commercial fraud, legal privilege, and international arbitration.

Described by many prominent legal directories as a “superb advocate and well-rounded practitioner” and “one of the sharpest legal minds of his generation”, Colin is highly regarded for his expertise in navigating and resolving multi-jurisdictional legal challenges. As a civil fraud specialist, he has litigated ground-breaking cases involving novel points of law, while his broader commercial disputes practice has seen him act for law firms, multinationals and high net-worth individuals. Additionally, Colin is the author of Legal Professional Privilege, which to-date remains the only work dedicated to this complex area of law and is regularly cited by the Singapore courts.

As Head of International Litigation, Colin will focus on major cross-border disputes that demand a sophisticated and strategic approach to global conflict management. His leadership will play a key role in enhancing the firm’s reputation as a market-leading, independent disputes practice that delivers world-class legal services to clients across industries.

We are excited to have Colin on board and look forward to the next chapter of growth under his leadership.
